Memorial Day

Slept really soundly last night in the empty CVSR parking lot. Had to turn the heat up this morning.

We plan to get on I90 which goes due West through several states and across S. Dakota. We plan to drive for a few hours then stop somewhere, jump in the Jeep and explore, then back to the MH for dinner and the evening.

2:30pm
We left to get on the road around 8:3am. Stopped at a rest area for breakfast. Just pulled into a WalMart about 10 miles East of Elkhart, IN. Pleasant and breezy here. Picked up a few more items at Walmart, came back, broke out the wine and snack tray and are watching satellite TV news.

6:30pm

 Just got notification on my phone and local TV station that we're directly in the path of developing tornados.

Started off with severe thunderstorms, but it has let up now.

If I post again, you'll know we survived.
