Yesterday we drove several more hours East, stopping only at a N. Dakota state museam in Bismark that was recommended to us by someone at a visitor center. This place was awesome, riviling a Smithsonian museam in its depth and quality. It actually contains four museam inside, each focusing on an aspect of the state's history. There was a dinosaur museam with many complete fossil skeletons including a tyrannosaurus rex, an agricultural history museam, a war effort museam, a native culture museam and another that I can't remember. I forgot my camera (phone) so unfortunately I don't have any pictures. Too bad, as it was very good.

After that, we got back on the highway for a few hours and ended up in this Walmart in the town of Jamestown, ND, about 3/4 of the way across the state. This state is really a lonely place with not much to see or do except at the West and East extremities. It's mostly prarie land.

Today we'll pass through Fargo on the East end of the state and head into Minnesota. At this point there are no pre-planned destinations until we get to Niagara Falls in Buffalo, NY. We'll make each day's itinerary up as we go along, but we have plenty of time available.
